A shot at the record books

Members of `Comaganin Raaga Priya' light music orchestra are all geared up for an interesting fete.

The troupe of visually challenged musicians is determined to enter the Guinness Book of World Records by performing for 50 hours at a stretch, from 1 p.m. on Friday to 7 p.m. on Sunday.

They would have to break the existing record of a 48-hour long performance, troupe director M.C. Comagan said.

The show will be held at Kamaraj Hall. On Friday and Saturday, entry to the programme will be free between 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. (the following morning).
