Airtel's new pre-paid tariff plan

CHENNAI : Airtel has come out with a new tariff plan for pre-paid subscribers in the State that enables them to call any Tamil Nadu Airtel mobile at 39 paise a minute and provides a full year's validity.

Calls to other mobiles intra-State will be charged at 60 paise per minute. All mobile calls between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. will be charged 39 paise per minute. An added incentive is that customers get 365 free local SMSs for the one-year period. Mahesh Thampi, Airtel COO, mobile services, Tamil Nadu, said the plan provided unlimited opportunities in a limited budget.
