IICT inks pact with Australian university

HYDERABAD: The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) here to collaborate in the areas of catalysis for green chemistry, nanotech, drug discovery and energy research.

Margaret Gardener, RMIT vice-chancellor and president, who signed the MoU, also announced a number of fellowships to initiate research collaboration of mutual interest. RMIT is one of the most popular universities in Australia.

J.S. Yadav, IICT director, welcomed the partnership with the Australian university.
