Apprentice service
The State Government has decided to take into account the apprentice service rendered by teachers for 8-16-24 years automatic advancement. The decision is expected to benefit over 64,000 teachers and will entail an immediate financial commitment of Rs. 32.67 crores. Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy at a meeting with School Education Minister N. Rajyalakshmi and senior officials of the department here on Tuesday asked the officials to consider the apprentice service for automatic advancement.
