Now, ANU degree result through SMS

Staff Reporter

GUNTUR: Acharya Nagarjuna University will release the results of all the degree examinations held in March 2007, including B.Ed examinations, through SMS. The results will be declared on May 10.

"The results will be available within an hour of the declaration on the university campus," UGC coordinator Noor Basha Abdul has said.

The university has entrusted the task of preparing the software to the Hyderabad-based company Suchi Infotech. Students who wish to avail themselves of the service should register their names, their mobile number and hall-ticket number on the web site, www.resultsonmobile.com. They could also send SMS to 99499-33333, by typing `results' - followed by the hall-ticket number. The results would be available an hour after the request.

Valuation of the degree examination papers was going on and would be completed by April 30. It would take another 10 days to computerise the whole data, he said.
