Isolated rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, coastal and north interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

They were appreciably above normal at a few places over Andhra Pradesh, coastal Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, Kerala, above normal at one or two places over rest Andhra Pradesh, rest Karnataka, rest Kerala, rest Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

Rentachintala and Tirupathi Airport recorded the highest maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius in the region.

Forecast (valid until Friday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka and Kerala. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Lakshadweep, coastal and north interior Karnataka.

Outlook for Subsequent Two Days: No significant change.
