Big win for Malleswaram Gymkhana

Bangalore: Malleswaram Gymkhana defeated Jayanagar Colts by an innings and 11 runs in a KSCA Group I, first division league match here recently.

Malleswaram Gymkhana scored 188 in its first innings and later bowled out Jayanagar Colts for 60 and 117.

Group I, first division: Malleswaram Gymkhana 188 in 56 overs (Vijay Madyalkar 47 n.o., M. Naveen six for 67) bt Jayanagar Colts 60 in 41.1 overs (Anand Katti four for 12) and 117 in 49.1 overs.

Bangalore United CC (1) 341 for nine in 100 overs (C. Raghu 64, Arjun Hegde 60, Shashank Rao 50, Nimit Nithyanand 49, S. Dhananjaya four for 52) drew with Swastic Union CC (1). Match curtailed due to rain.

Bangalore Cricketers 190 in 62.4 overs (Stalin Hoover 72, N. Vinoo Prasad four for 48) drew with Jawans CC 69 for one in 12 overs.

Jawahar SC (1) 268 in 64.5 overs (H.R. Cheluvaraj 60 n.o., C.B. Karthik 45, Mithun four for 50) and 101 for three decl. in 20 overs (K.C. Avanish 46) drew with Vultures CC 184 in 65.1 overs (Tejas A. Wagle 77, Rohan Shah 58, Arjun Shetty four for 37) and 60 for two in 13 overs.
