HUBLI: Members of the Akhila Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishat (ABVP), Hubli unit, and farmers staged a rasta roko here on Wednesday seeking the dismissal of the West Bengal Government led by Buddhadeb Bhattacharya.

The protest was in response to the nationwide strike call given by the parishat against the Buddhadeb led Government in West Bengal.

The protestors staged a rasta roko at Unakal Cross for a while. Member of the State Executive Committee of the ABVP Mahendra Kautal alleged that the leaders in the West Bengal Government were responsible for the killing of people in their State recently.
