Management seminar

CHENNAI: The Indo-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry will conduct a seminar on "Jishu Hoze" (total productive maintenance techniques) on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on its premises in Teynampet. There will be no registration fee, but participants will have to register in advance by e-mail: indo-japan@ijcci.com or injapan@satyam.net.in

SBI trade finance centre opened

The State Bank of India's trade finance central processing centre was inaugurated at Whannels Road in Egmore on Wednesday. P.K. Mitra, Deputy Managing Director of SBI Corporate Centre in Hyderabad, inaugurated the facility, which will offer letters of credit, bank guarantee and bills discounting services.

Health camp

A blood donation and a free medical camp will be organised on May 1 by Apostolic Christian Assembly in association with the voluntary organisation, SEESHA. Eye testing, screening for diabetes and dental health check will be conducted from 8.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Plot No. 2, Church Street, Dhanarajapuram, Kolathur. Call 94441-15471 for details.

Bramhotsavam

The annual brahmotsavam of Ranganatha Perumal Temple, Tiruneermalai, will be celebrated from April 30 to May 10. The "garuda seva" will be held on May 5 and the car festival on May 7. The MTC will operate special bus services from Pallavaram to Tiruneermalai during the festival days, a temple press release said.
