The first meeting will be held on April 28 at Egmore. Subsequently, meetings will be held at Raja Annamalaipuram on May 5, Tondiarpet on May 19, Kodambakkam on May 26 and Anna Nagar on June 2. Meetings will also be held in Tambaram on May 5, Avadi and Minjur on May 12, Sholinganallur on May 19, St. Thomas Mount on May 26, Ambattur on June 2, Kunrathur and Poonamallee on June 9, and Tiruvottiyur on June 16. A senior CMDA official said residents would get details about the plan proposals in specific areas, including proposed road widening or classification of land. "They just have to provide the survey number and the revenue village where they want the information to get the details from the officials at the meeting venue," he said. Sixteen illustrations giving details of the various aspects of the city would be on display at the meetings. "All suggestions should be made in written form," the official said. The exact venue of the meetings would be announced soon.
