Thiruvananthapuram: The Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), Hindustan Latex Limited and Terumo Penpol Limited are together to celebrate National Technology Day here on May 11. Quiz and interactive sessions for the younger generation are being planned. Leading scientists and technologists will interact with the student community and advise them on the opportunities in the science and technology sector. Visual media presentations will be made. The event is to be held at the Achutha Menon Centre at the SCTIMST. A press release issued by the organisers here on Wednesday said, the programme was aimed at renewing interest among school and college students in basic sciences and engineering.
