Some 270 manufacturers, 50 per cent of them involved in machinery-making, are taking part in the exhibition to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy at Hitex, Madhapur. They will showcase latest technologies, modern processes, raw materials besides host of intermediate products. V. Anil Reddy, president of the association, and Anil Nagda, convener, told a press conference here on Wednesday that the Plastindia Foundation and the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET) were supporting the event. The Indian Centre for Plastics and Environment, a participant, would be educating both entrepreneurs and about 20,000 visitors from the south and neighbouring States on proper use of plastics in relation to environmental cleanliness.
