Mukesh promises to serve people

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: "I am very happy that Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy has recognised my services and gave me this additional responsibility to serve people better," said a smiling Maharajgunj legislator M. Mukesh Goud.

Saying there was no representation for Hyderabad in the Cabinet for the last three years, he said this had its impact on drawing funds from the Centre to take up developmental works for the city. "Now, there will be no more delays in release of funds for taking up developmental works in the respective localities," he said. Issues like traffic menace, betterment of public transport and supply of drinking water on a regular basis would be given top priority, he said.
