New coordinator for NSS cell of BU

BHUBANESWAR: Jhansi Singh, lecturer in Koraput's Political Science in Semiliguda College, has joined as programme coordinator of National Service Scheme Cell of Berhampur University recently.

National awardee

Ms. Singh, the first woman to hold the post, had received Indira Gandhi NSS Programme Officer national award for the year 2001-2002 by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

She was adjudged as the best programme officer by Berhampur University in 1997-1998.
