SP tells students to give importance to sports

ANANTAPUR: The Kendriya Vidyalaya located on the campus of Sri Krishnadevaraya University here celebrated its 10th annual day on Wednesday. Students presented a wide range of cultural activities on the occasion.

Speaking at the annual day fete, Superintendent of Police M.S. Raveendra suggested to teachers and students to give equal importance to sports along with academics. Sports would not only develop physical strength but would also instil confidence and courage among the students, he said.

Commitment

Vice-Chancellor of the university A. Rama Rao suggested to the teachers to work with commitment to shape the future of the students. Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya A.R. Lakshmi presented the progress report of the institution for the last year.

Mementoes

The SP and V-C presented mementoes to the meritorious students.

Later, the students presented a wide range of cultural activities showcasing our cultural heritage.

Their presentations covered subjects like patriotism, culture, mythology and physical fitness.
