Joy of reading

The reading habit still continues. M.T. Vasudevan Nair, writer, has no doubt that reading has not lost its relevance. He praised the Malayali's love for the books. M.T. recalled that women of households in his younger days were not fortunate enough to watch TV serials. Instead, they made a manuscript of book. Speakers stressed the importance of books at a two-day national conference organised by Kerala State Library Council in Kozhikode on Tuesday.
