ALAPPUZHA: The annual festival of the historic St. George Church, situated on the banks of the River Pampa at Edathua near here, will be held from April 27 to May 14, vicar Antony Porookkara said here on Thursday. Addressing a press conference, Fr. Porookkara said all arrangements were in place for the festival and for pilgrims who would arrive at the Church from various parts of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and even from Sri Lanka, to participate in the festival.
