Kiran on U.P. election tour

Special Correspondent

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Minister of State for Tourism and Forests Kiran Choudhry is on a three-day election tour of Uttar Pradesh to ensure success of Congress candidates in the U.P. Assembly elections.

Accompanied by Ram Kishan Fauji, MLA, she would be addressing election meetings at various places in support of the Congress candidates.

Feedback

She told this correspondent that she had already campaigned twice in the past for the success of Congress candidates in U.P.. Going by the public feedback received during the election campaign, she said, the Congress was in a "very good position'' as the people wanted peace and development in the States.

Prosperity

"The Congress is the only party which could ensure overall growth and prosperity in U.P. as the other political parties have noting concrete to offer to the electorate except misguiding the people on the basis of false commitments," she added.
