NEW DELHI: Delhi Assembly Speaker Prem Singh has expressed satisfaction over the manner in which the tenth budget session of the House that ended this past Monday was conducted. The session, which began on March 21, saw a discussion on the Lieutenant-Governor's address for four days in which eight members participated. A total of 332 notices of questions were received during the session, of which 301 were accepted. A total of 169 questions were listed for answering in the House, of which 47 were answered by the Ministers and on these 242 supplementary questions were asked by the members. On the budget presented on April 16, discussion was held over three days. After being deliberated for over five hours by 15 members, it was passed by the House.
