Building expo opens in city

CHENNAI
: Housing developers, furniture manufacturers and members of the construction industry have come together at an exhibition that opened at Chennai Trade Centre on Thursday.
Organised by Zak Trade Fairs and Exhibitions, the expo has stalls by more than 30 property developers and housing finance companies. Interior design products, furniture and furnishings from Korea, China, Singapore, Italy, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and Kenya are also on display.
Products on display include doors, partitions, furniture, modular kitchens, furnishings, hardware, home decoration items, handicrafts, marbles, glass, sanitary ware and safety equipments.
More than 30 construction companies have set up stalls featuring a variety of products such as adhesives and air conditioners. Some of the participants are Marg Constructions, Puravankara, Bally, Garware and Tata Steel. The exhibition will be on till April 29.
