SFI dharna in front of school against summer classes
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
SFI activists staged a dharna in front of the Gowtham Model School, Himayathnagar, alleging that the security guards of the school attacked them when they went to stop summer classes being run by the school.
K. Hari Kishore, State general secretary, said that the school had been running summer classes against rules. He said that students who wrote their 9th class examinations were being taught 10th class syllabus despite clear norms that classes should not be held during summer holidays.
Mr. Kishore demanded action against the school management for violating the norms and also their arrest for attacking the protestors. He asked the Government to ensure that even corporate colleges do not run classes for second year students in summer.
