The heat is on
The otherwise jam packed streets turn deserted, bustling shops turn desolate and who ever dares to venture out are left cursing their decision. As the mercury keeps rising and sun beats down harshly, the denizens for the last three days are getting a true feel of a summer.
On the roads, but for the public transport and cars, the two-wheeler traffic has really thinned for the last few days. Sweat drenched faces at bus bays and pedestrians ambling along with little cover to hide from the fury of the sun make a pitiable sight.
However, malls and theatres are in for good times as they ensure cool ambience and many prefer to slip into them and spend the afternoons.
