Eesha holds Humpy

NEW DELHI: Continuing her dream unbeaten run, WGM Eesha Karavade held compatriot Koneru Humpy in the fifth round of the Dubai Open chess tournament on Thursday.

Facing a Grandmaster for the fourth time in succession, Eesha matched Humpy in 48 moves. Eesha has so far gained nearly 25 rating points and stayed firmly on course for a GM norm.
