VISAKHAPATNAM: Raja Vasireddy Tirumal Prasad, a former captain of Andhra under-19 cricket team died here on Thursday night after a prolonged illness. He was 55 and is survived by an elder brother, two sisters and a daughter. Tirumal Prasad was the younger brother of R.V.V.K. Prasad, former Andhra Ranji captain who passed away in January. The cremation was held on Friday. Former ACA president D.V. Subba Rao, ACA North Zone secretary P.V. Narayanaswami and others mourned the death of Tirumal Prasad.
