Belgaum: A man who was posing as Lokayukta Superintendent of Police was apprehended by the staff of Crime Branch of Market Police station here on Friday. Based on information from a senior official of Regional Transport Office, Belgaum, Murgyappa Ningappa Kumbargol (40) of Sadalga in Chikkodi taluk was arrested when the latter was leaving after collecting a "packet" from the official in an autorickshaw. The accused reportedly targeted government officials to make easy money.
