CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Government has declared Maharishi Dayanand University in Rohtak, 70 km from Delhi, as the appropriate authority for admission to the MBBS, BDS and BAMS courses in all its Government-aided colleges. The University has also invited applications for admission to these courses. The last date for receipt of applications is May 21 and the entrance test will be held in Rohtak on June 10 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The prospectus containing the eligibility conditions and application form will be made available on April 30 at a cost of Rs. 1,000 from In-charge (Publications). The price of the prospectus for Scheduled Castes and Backward Caste students will be Rs. 250. The prospectus can also be obtained by post by sending a bank draft of Rs. 1,050 drawn in favour of the Finance Officer of State Bank of India's branch in MDU, Rohtak, on or before May 13. The amount of the bank draft for Scheduled Caste and Backward Class students will be Rs. 300. The applications can also be downloaded from the MDU website and sent along with the requisite fee.
