HRC hearing on dog bites on Monday

HYDERABAD: The State Human Rights Commission will conduct a hearing on April 30 on dog bite incidents that occurred recently in the capital and elsewhere in the State.

A press release issued here on Friday said the commission had on April 11 visited the University College of Women, Koti, where several students were bitten, and made preliminary enquiries.

It received reports from the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad, the police and Animal Welfare Board of India, Chennai.

The Commission will also conduct a hearing on the same day on the collapse of a hoarding at Road No. 3 Banjara Hills, killing one person.
