KARIMNAGAR: District Congress Committee leaders accorded a warm reception to Minister for Roads and Buildings T. Jeevan Reddy and Minister for Endowments J. Ratnakara Rao during their maiden visit to Karimnagar district on Friday evening after occupying the Minister posts. DCC president T. Santosh Kumar, Karimnagar Mayor D. Shankar, Karimnagar agricultural market committee chairman Y. Sunil Rao, Markfed chairman Ponnam Prabhakar, KDCCB chairman K. Ravinder Rao and others welcomed the Ministers in Karimnagar town in a traditional manner. The DCC leaders competed honouring the Ministers with shawls and garlands. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jeevan Reddy said that he would strive to convert the existing Rajiv Rahadhari into a four-lane road from Ramagundam industrial belt to Hyderabad city via Karimnagar for the benefit of Karimnagar district people. He also said that they would accord priority in laying roads to several interior and inaccessible villages. Mr J. Ratnakara Rao had assured to strive for the development of temples in Karimnagar district.
