GUNTUR: Multi-media messages, containing pornographic contents of some boys and girls from Guntur created shockwaves in the city on Friday and two of the clippings were uploaded onto a popular website for video clippings. This spurred Superintendent of Police B. Shivadhar Reddy into action by asking the cellular phone companies to trace the origin of the MMS clippings and help stop its free distribution among subscribers. Four separate clippings of teenagers' intimate moments inside a cubicle of an Internet café in the city filmed through a hidden camera were uploaded on Wednesday and Thursday. While two of them have been removed by the website administrators, two others were still there till Friday night. This sent several youths to Internet cafes all over the city on Friday and many of them received MMS on their cell phones. The police were contacting the website administrators asking them to remove those clips, Mr. Reddy told The Hindu . All the teenagers in the clippings were clearly identifiable. The police had arrested some people in the city four months ago for indulging in such illegal filming of those inside the cubicles. Compact Discs were being sold at several places for a price of Rs.200 a piece. While CDs have been in circulation for past some days, today the clippings on website and MMS shocked parents and the police alike.
