HYDERABAD: Imagine sipping a hot cup of tea or sharing an icecream with your sweetheart with mounds of snow around you! No, you don't have to go all the way to Alps or a hill station in the Himalayas to enjoy the experience. It is available right in the heart of the city.

Snow World - India's first snow theme park set up in the city - has added more attractions to it.

One of them is the Ice Hotel that will give an experience of being in the Himalayas even when the mercury continues to soar outside.

Snow dancing and snow sculpting are other features that would leave the kids bemused this summer.

"Fun lovers this summer have more than one reason to visit Snow World. Chill, dance and savour hot snacks or cold beverages like never before," says Managing Director of Snow World, M. Venkateswara Rao.

An exclusive 4,000 sft area of the total 17,000 sft area of Snow World has now been earmarked for snow dancing.

Fun for adults too

While kids immerse themselves in fun and frolic adults are not left behind in squeezing out maximum fun.

"There are high speed toboggans and slides where people of all ages can slide down on snow on tubes or sleighs. For sports freaks, they can go merry playing snow volleyball and snow basket ball," says Raja Jupudi, Director of Snow World.

Entry fee

Open between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., visitors would be allowed on hourly basis. The fee is Rs. 250 per adult and Rs. 200 per child.
