NEW DELHI: International Master S. Kidambi drew with top-seeded Grandmaster Jaan Ehlvest and stayed on course for a Grandmaster norm after six rounds of the Dubai Open chess tournament in Dubai on Friday. Kidambi became the second Indian to hold Ehlvest in the premier event after Tejas Bakre showed the way in the second round.
Eight players share the lead at five points. Three more rounds remain in the competition.
