Telecom exhibition

TIRUCHI : The Rotary Club of Tiruchi Fort will be hosting a three-day telecom exhibition `Rotacom '07,' starting May 4 at Makkal Manram in the city.

The exhibition will feature 70 stalls, put up by service providers, manufacturers, dealers and distributors of mobile phones and IT systems.

Marking the fair, a quiz competition on ICT will be organised for the college students. Preliminary rounds will be conducted separately for students of arts and science and engineering colleges.

Addressing presspersons here on Saturday, the Chairman of the project V. Iyyapan Shankar said the proceeds of the exhibition would be pooled to form a corpus fund for the `Children Development Project.'
