The festival will travel to Pune from May 4 to 11, Calicut/Kozhikode from May 14 to 18 and Kolkata from May 19 to 24. By presenting a selection of modern European cinema to people living in different cities across the country, the festival aims to project the excellence of the European film art, contributing to the understanding and appreciation of film cultures. This year the festival is showcasing a package of more than 17 films, each one representing a different member-State. The films being screened have been widely acclaimed in Europe and some have even won prestigious awards in recent years.
