`Sivaji' release likely to be delayed

CHENNAI: AVM Studios is hoping to release Rajinikanth's `Sivaji' by May 17. But it doesn't seem likely, sources in the production company said, though the sum of the two digits of the tentative date 17 is said to be lucky for the film director Shankar.The graphics and re-recording for the film are still in progress. These should be completed by May 11.

There will be 400 Tamil prints and 300 Telugu prints.

As the rate of production is 40 prints per day, it should take another 10 days after May 11 for the prints to be ready.
