Vijaya Bank pays 10 p.c. final dividend

BANGALORE: Vijaya Bank reported its highest business growth of Rs. 17,477 crore in 2006-07, its platinum jubilee year. The total business was Rs. 62,248 crore. Net profit showed a year-on-year growth of 161 per cent at Rs. 331.34 crore. P. Mallya, Chairman and Managing Director, told reporters here on Monday, that including the 10 per cent interim dividend, the total dividend approved by the board was 20 per cent.
