CHENNAI: Synaptris, a software product company belonging to the CSS group, has entered into a partnership with Chennai-based Firstware Software Solutions, a division of Brilliant Tutorials Pvt. Ltd. The arrangement will see Firstware distribute and implement Synaptris's advanced reporting and analysis products in India. Synaptris, in partnership with Firstware, will target SMEs (small and medium enterprises) running critical business applications for finance, manufacturing, supply chain and CRM (customer relationship management) functions.
Product portfolio
Synaptris' product portfolio includes IntelliVIEW, an advanced reporting and analysis solution for generic data sources, including most relational databases, and IntelliPRINT, an advanced reporting and analysis solution designed specifically for IBM Lotus Notes and Domino applications. Synaptris has over 2,100 customers and two lakh licensed users spread across 40 countries. "SMEs are making significant investments in ERP (enterprise resource planning) and other critical business applications to improve efficiency and gain a competitive edge. A major concern for SMEs is the ability of business users to have an `on demand' access to information in these applications to effectively leverage these investments.
