VATAKARA: As he served an arch pass, Andhra Pradesh setter Raghu Rama Raju looked anxiously at his team's star spiker N. Ashok. With chief setter Vamsee Krishna on the bench with a swollen knee, Raghu Andhra's second booster suffered a few tense moments as he tried to settle down and serve to his teammates' tastes and fancy. In the end, after a 100-minute thriller, Raghu let out a yell of relief as Andhra Pradesh pipped Delhi 3-2 at the ninth National youth volleyball championship here on Tuesday. Andhra Pradesh won 17-25, 25-12, 25-23, 20-25, 15-8. With three wins from as many encounters, Andhra is on course for a quarterfinal berth from men's Group C. The AP women, however, had no such jitters.
