Rain plays spoilsport

NEW DELHI: China had the upper hand in its first singles against India when rain intervened in the Asia-Oceania Junior Davis Cup under-16 tennis tournament at Bangkok on Tuesday.

Di Wu led 6-2, 5-3 against Christopher Marquis in the first singles when play was abandoned, on a day when constant rain allowed only an hour of play.
