Easy for Blues FC
At Karaikudi, Blues FC thrashed Dr. Ambedkar FC (Erode) 6-1 and entered the pre-quarterfinals of the 24th annual Champion Club football tournament for the Universal Trophy at the Krishna Stadium, Velangudi, on Tuesday. Velmurugan (11th min), Periannan (22nd), Ganeshkumar (48th, 75th), Selvam (57th, 77th) scored for the winner while Gopala Krishnan reduced the margin in the 48th minute. SAI Hostel posts win
SAI Hostel (Thalassery) bounced back from a one-set deficit to oust Sports Division (Kannur) 17-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-20 in a round robin women's league of the CDVA Golden Jubilee Classic Polo All India volleyball tournament at the Nanjappa HSS grounds at Tirupur on Tuesday.
