Station Masters threaten to stop trains

MADURAI : Members of the All India Station Masters' Association, Madurai Division, have threatened to stop trains at all signals for two minutes for a period of 48 hours commencing from the midnight of June 2.

A resolution to this effect was passed at a special general body meeting held here recently.

The agitation was in support of various demands, including strict implementation of the Railway Board's transfer policy, according to a statement.
