GANDHINAGAR: The refusal by the Supreme Court to "dispose of" the Sohrabuddin fake encounter case, in which three senior IPS officers, two from Gujarat and one from Rajasthan, have been arrested, has disappointed the political leadership in Gujarat. The State government will be on tenterhooks at least for one more day anxiously awaiting the outcome in the Supreme Court on Tuesday of the hearing on the Sohrabuddin case. But BJP sources admitted that the State political leadership, which was hoping that the apex court would "dispose of" the matter as the State government had already taken action on all the three "prayers" in the petition filed by Sohrabuddin's brother, Rubabuddin, was "clearly disappointed."
