`Maa Grandhayalam' impresses him

KARIMNAGAR: Director General of Police M. A. Basith was all praise for Superintendent of Police Y. Gangadhar for launching the ambitious `Maa Grandhayalam' (our library) programme of constructing libraries with thatched roofs by participating in `shramdhan' and winning over the confidence of villagers. T

he DGP, who was here in Karimnagar district on Tuesday, participated in the inauguration of Sultanabad police station building, which was constructed at a cost of Rs. 15 lakhs. He visited the district police training college on the outskirts of Karimnagar and interacted with trainee constables of AR force.

Review meeting

Later, he conducted a review meeting with the district police officials. Earlier, he went round a photo exhibition depicting people-friendly policies initiated by the district police.He suggested the SP to intensify the people-friendly policies in the district.
