The connection

In a meeting between a business delegation of the Commonwealth of Virginia, and State government officials, the topic of commonalities between the States came up. Chief Secretary L.K. Tripathy said both States contributed Presidents to their nations. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Woodrow Wilson were the "Virginians" who became U.S. Presidents, while S. Radhakrishnan, R. Venkataraman and A.P.J. Abdul Kalam were from Tamil Nadu.
