BANGALORE: Four-year-old M.R. Swathi was injured severely when a pack of dogs attacked her on Sunday morning at her house in Peenya, T. Dasarahalli.

"She was playing in front of the house when the dogs, which were earlier fighting among themselves, pounced on her and mauled her. She has several injuries, especially on her cheeks," S. Ramakrishna, her father, who works as a bill collector in a finance company, said.

First aid

Swathi was taken to Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences for first aid on Sunday itself.

After the parents met Health Minister R. Ashok, who promised them free treatment, she has now been admitted at K.C General Hospital.
