TRS MLA to be in police custody

HYDERABAD: A local court here on Tuesday allowed the police to take Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA Kasipeta Lingaiah, who surrendered before court after being named in an emigration racket, into custody for interrogation.

The MLA from Nerella constituency in Karimnagar district would be in police custody for eight days from Wednesday. The court also allowed a petition filed by the police to search the MLA's quarter at Erramanzil Colony in city and his houses at Godavarikhani and Ladnapur village in Muttaram mandal of Karimnagar district.
