HUBLI: Based on the findings of a "sting operation" by a private Kannada television channel, the Hubli Police have arrested three persons on the charge of selling young girls on the pretext of getting them married. The police have given the names of the arrested as Raju (Ajit) Neminath Amminabhavi of Kalghatgi, Ashok Adhiraj Ritti of Banavasi and Harakchand Walchand Jain of Keshwapur. They were arrested on Tuesday. They have been remanded to judicial custody. The Old Hubli Police registered a case and took up investigation.
