HYDERABAD:
Following the budgetary announcement by Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, allotment of lower berths in air-conditioned and sleeper class coaches for senior citizens and women has begun.
Accordingly, Chief Public Relations Officer P. The quota will remain open for booking till the time of preparation of charts.
Later, the unutilised quota would be released to wait-listed passengers, he said.
Pregnant women will be required to submit a certificate from a registered medical practitioner while booking the ticket.
