Book reading session

CHENNAI:
American author Eddy L. Harris will be in Chennai on Thursday as part of his ongoing `Speaking tour of India'.
He will hold a book reading session at Landmark, Apex Plaza, Nungambakkam. After Chennai, he will visit Bangalore and Hyderabad where he will meet with writers.
Mr. Harris, whose writings are about his impressions on life and the people he meets during his travels, is on the invitation of the Office of Public Affairs, U.S. Consulate General, Chennai. Mr. Harris's published his first book A Mississippi Solo in 1998. He is currently living in Paris where he wrote his last book, Jupiter et Moi in France in 2005.
He spent his early years in Harlem in New York City. Mr. Harris has contributed to the Washington Post, Outside and Sewanee Review besides being a writer-in-residence at Washington University.
