Isolated rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at many places over Kerala and south interior Karnataka and isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, north interior Karnataka and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed over Telangana, coastal Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

On Tuesday, the maximum temperature rose at one or two places over coastal Tamil Nadu, fell at one or two places over north Kerala, north coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

Medak recorded the highest maximum temperature of 44 degrees Celsius in the region.

Forecast (Valid until Friday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Kerala, coastal and south interior Karnataka.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, north interior Karnataka, Lakshadweep and Andhra Pradesh.

Outlook for Subsequent Two Days: No significant change.
