Kerala to draw up development programmes

As part of first anniversary of the LDF Government

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KeralaGovernment will draw up a number of development programmes in connection with the first anniversary of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) Government in the State, Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has said here on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister said that the details would be finalised and announced after the next Cabinet meeting. The People's Plan Campaign, he said, would be taken up again, in an error-free manner. The Chaid pension of Rs.120 a month. The workers would also be granted arrears of pension for one year, totalling Rs.6.86 lakh. More than 900 workers would benefit by the Cabinet decision.
